Customer information
Privacy & cookies
Secondhand Styling is responsible for the personal data it processes for this webshop. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@secondhandties.com. Our business address is Augustastraat 4, 7555 TX Hengelo, Netherlands.
Contact enquiries
When you contact us, we process your contact details, message and any order information you provide to answer your enquiry, handle your request or resolve a complaint. We use this information to take steps at your request, fulfil a contract or pursue our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Online withdrawal requests
When you submit a withdrawal, we store your name, email address, order reference or purchase details, the items concerned, a unique request reference and the submission date and time in the website database. We use these details to handle the withdrawal, meet our obligations and keep evidence of the request. Only the shop owner can view this overview. Keep the downloadable acknowledgement. Email acknowledgements are sent through Resend when sending is available.
Shopping bag and website access
The shopping bag stores product identifiers in your browser so your selection can be remembered on that device. This is functional storage. You can clear it through your browser settings.
The website is hosted by OpenAI Sites. Hosting and access services may process technical information such as your IP address and request details to deliver and secure the site. Private access uses ChatGPT sign-in. The shop uses the signed-in email address to restrict its administration panel.
Payments
Checkout stores your name, email, delivery address, optional phone number, selected delivery option, items, prices, order reference and payment status in the website database. Only the owner can view customer details. Mollie receives the payment amount, order reference and delivery information to provide its hosted checkout. The shop does not receive or store card details. Test orders are marked as tests: no real money is charged and they are not shipped. Order confirmations and owner notifications are sent through Resend.
Retention and sharing
We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any related claim or legal obligation. We do not sell your personal data. Necessary information may be processed by Mollie, Resend, STRATO and OpenAI Sites or disclosed where required by law. Resend stores message content and delivery records in the United States; its European sending region does not change that storage location. See Resend’s transfer and data protection information. Test order records are retained for testing and troubleshooting. We retain financial order records for 7 years to meet Dutch tax record-keeping obligations. Other personal data is retained only while needed for delivery, returns, enquiries or related claims. Necessary delivery details are shared with the carrier chosen by the customer (PostNL, DPD or Mondial Relay) when we purchase the label.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where legally relevant. Contact us using the address above. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Cookies
The shop does not add advertising trackers. Our own statistics store independent daily totals of public page views, approximate country, broad traffic source and device category. We do not store visitor names, IP addresses, visitor identifiers, full referring URLs, search terms or individual browsing histories in these statistics, and do not use analytics cookies or fingerprinting. Country is an approximate network-based location, not a precise address. We use these limited totals to understand and improve the shop. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals suppress collection. Admin, checkout and withdrawal pages are excluded. The hosting and sign-in services may use necessary cookies or equivalent storage. Any future tracking that requires consent will be introduced only with the appropriate consent controls.
